New features, new layout and improved functionality

NEW FEATURE Home : once you have upgraded to ItemsOD v5.0 on your website the first thing you will notice once you have logged in is the new Home section:

• Shows you all the updatable sections of your website and offers quick access to the section.
  
• Offers the ability to search across all active sections from one centralised point. This lets you quick locate information you have previously uploaded to the website.
  
• It replaces the Components section to improve getting around the updatable sections of your website.
  Note: the Components is still available as before but mainly for references purposes.
  

NEW FEATURE Item Downloads: downloads (PDFs, Docs, etc) can be associated with any Item. Previously, to associate a download would need to be uploaded to the general website Downloads and then linked to an Item. Now you can add as many downloads as required to any Item. This means that each Item can have the following associated:

• Downloads
  
• Images
  
• Articles (additional text)
  
• Links (website, cross-reference and email)
  
• Pricing
  

NEW FEATURE Integration with ShopOD: ItemsOD now integrates with the ShopOD (new online product) which is used to track clients and their orders. More about the ShopOD will be posted on this website soon.
