Text OnlyExplanation: if you are using the WYSIWYS Editor and would like to Copy and Paste text from a word processor such as Microsoft Word® then it is advisable that you Paste only the text in the Item Description. The reason for this is your website is based on a style sheet which determines layout, font, etc. If you paste directly into the Item Description from a product like Word then the formatting of the Word document will be kept - this will effect how the content appears on your website. WYSISYG means What You See Is What You Get. Below is the WYSISYG Editor that appears above an Item Description and an Article. It is useful if you do not want to use HTML Tags. The WYSIWYG Editor makes it easy to Bold, Italics, Underline, etc. But is is not as powerful as using Tags.
First Copy the text (i.e. form Word) and right-click in the space below to Paste the text. You can do a basic layout - such as paragraphs, etc. - and then Copy and Paste into the Item Description. | ||
